Nokia slashed the price of its Lumia 900 Windows Phone in half.

Topping tech headlines over the weekend, BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) wasfound guilty of patent infringement, and ordered by a San Francisco court to pay Mformation Technologies $147.2 million in damages. At issue were BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES)-connected devices, which Mformation said violated its wireless mobile device management patent.
Meanwhile, Nokia slashed the price of its Lumia 900 Windows Phone in half. AT&T is now selling the Lumia 900 for $49.99 with a two-year contract in blue, white, black, or pink. The price cut comes shortly after Microsoft announced that the Lumia 900 won't get the full Windows Phone 8 upgrade this fall, but rather an improved start screen with Windows Phone 7.8.
At Comic-Con, meanwhile, Microsoft unveiled a limited-edition Halo 4 Xbox 360 bundle. The $399 package is available for pre-order now, and expected to be released on Nov. 6 – Halo 4's release date. The bundle will include the custom-designed 320GB console, with built-in WiFi and two Halo 4 controllers, as well as a standard edition copy of the game, a wired headset, and Xbox Life tokens. On the same day, Microsoft and 343 Industries will release a standalone Halo 4 Limited Edition Wireless Controller for $59.99.
